Open Cockpit Airacobra 02/15/14

It’s a whole new world to explore inside of our rare aircraft. Imagine yourself in a Blue Angels F-18 Hornet, WWII Bomber or anything in-between. Span a hundred years of aviation history and legends at Yanks.

Join us for OPEN COCKPIT DAY the 3rd Saturday of every month. This month we feature the Bell Airacobra

Tour the Super Constellation, our “TOP SECRET” aircraft known as the “Warning Star”. Before satellites, this was America’s “Big Eye” in the sky keeping us safe from hostile intruders during a long, illustrious career.

Support our cause, take to the skies in a Stearman open-cockpit bi-plane with Pilot extraordinaire Bob Hayden. Or go aerobatic with the WWII Texan. AIRCRAFT RIDES start at $75 per person.

Enjoy the training drills of the 82nd Airborne WWII Living History Re-enactors. Join the paratroopers and jump from the C-47 Skytrain.

Photo opportunities and packages include admission, cockpit access, posters, food and fun.
