Take Flight

Hans Weg cashed in his Christmas gift on Saturday, May 30 – a flight on a 1930s Stearman open cockpit  Pt-17 airplane at the Chino Airport. The person who owns the plane Bob Hayden has been flying it since he was 13 years old. The U.S. Army originally used the plane for pilot training prior to WWII.

Hans and Linda also spent the day at the Yank's Air Museum, located at the airport. The museum is  a non-profit organization dedicated to exhibiting, preserving and restoring American aircraft and artifacts, and contains planes from the beginning of flight to modern jets.
